We are currently looking for people who want to help us build a sovereign European cloud platform from the ground up - creating a real alternative to global hyperscalers. We are developing a complete PaaS stack based on Kubernetes and open source technologies. From serverless and managed databases to MLOps, monitoring and observability. By joining us, you become part of a team that designs the foundations of the platform rather than maintaining a finished product. We work in a full‑ownership model, where every architectural decision stays with the product for years. This is a place for people who want to genuinely influence the shape of the European cloud.
Role
A key DevOps engineer in the PaaS Platform team, responsible for the operational maintenance and development of the platform. You will work on the Kubernetes cluster lifecycle, GitOps pipelines, CI/CD, and the operational stability of the platform. You will bridge the dev and ops worlds - ensuring that what the team builds is ready for deployment, observable, and easy to maintain. Your daily work directly impacts how fast we ship and how stable the platform is.
Your responsibilities
- Kubernetes cluster lifecycle: provisioning, upgrades, scaling, decommissioning.
- Implementing and maintaining tools and solutions supporting platform operations.
- Maintaining and developing GitOps pipelines for the platform.
- CI/CD: build pipelines, integration test platform.
- Implementing deployment and rollback standards defined for the platform.
- Participating in on‑call rotation for critical platform incidents.
Requirements
- Experienced DevOps engineer with hands-on production experience operating Kubernetes infrastructure.
- Experience with GitOps (ArgoCD/Flux) in production - maintaining and developing pipelines.
- Practical experience with Cluster API - cluster lifecycle (provisioning, cluster management).
- Experience with CI/CD: integration tests, ephemeral environments.
- Good knowledge of Go or Python.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code - Terraform, Ansible or similar.
- Proficient use of AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code) as a natural part of daily engineering work.
Nice to have
- Experience with Kubernetes upgrade paths - rolling upgrades, certificate rotation.
- Experience with Harbor, OpenBao.
- Knowledge of Kamaji, k3s or vCluster as lightweight control planes.
- Experience with multi-cluster management (Rancher, Gardener).
- CKA / CKS certification.
- Experience with bare-metal Kubernetes (not only managed K8s on hyperscalers).
- Experience designing GitOps pipelines for multi-tenant platforms.
- Experience building custom Kubernetes operators.
- Experience with full release management - from builds through integration tests to production deployment.
