We are currently looking for a Engineer with hands-on, production-grade OpenStack experience who is comfortable working in large-scale cloud environments and can diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues. We are seeking a mid/senior-level engineer with experience in maintaining, upgrading, and tuning OpenStack, familiarity with automation and monitoring tools, and strong proficiency in working with Linux and IaC.

Your responsibilities will include:
 
  • Designing and developing cloud environments, including testing, tuning and creating new functionalities for customers worldwide.
  • Resolving complex system issues, including critical “0‑day” incidents.
  • Standardizing and automating infrastructure across large-scale environments.
  • Establishing system best practices and contributing to long-term architectural improvements.
  • Collaborating with SysAdmins and Development teams on system and network configuration as well as ongoing administrative operations.
Team technology stack:
 
  • Openstack (including OVN, OVS), Ceph, Kubernetes, Linux, Cummulus Linux, Terraform, Docker, Ansible, Git, GitlabCI, Jenkins, Nginx, Prometheus, Zabbix, Apache, Grafana, Redis, RabbitMQ, MySQL, PostgreSQL, programming languages: Python, C, C++, Golang, Bash.

What we are looking for:

  • Deep, production-grade knowledge of OpenStack, including various deployment and upgrade methods.
  • Experience administering Linux operating systems, including Python and Shell.
  • Familiarity with IaC tools such as Ansible, Git, Terraform, and Kolla/Kolla‑Ansible.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
  • Fluency in English.
An additional advantage will be:
 
  • Practical experience building Software‑Defined Data Centers, including Bare Metal provisioning.
  • Knowledge of SDN technologies such as Contrail/Tungsten Fabric, supported by real deployment and maintenance experience.
  • Ability to develop OpenStack services, demonstrated through upstream commits (high‑quality code, community collaboration, lifecycle understanding, tooling).
  • Experience building and maintaining large‑scale OpenStack clouds (minimum several hundred compute nodes).
  • Ability to scale and tune OpenStack or Ceph across multiple dimensions.
  • Experience working with MySQL/PostgreSQL, including high availability and replication techniques.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
